Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission:

  • Abstract submissions must be in line with workshop topics to be accepted.
  • All abstracts should clearly lay out the thesis and argument of the suggested paper topic.
  • Paper abstract should be 300-500 words.
  • The selection process is conducted by the workshop Chairs.
  • Once selected, participants must confirm their attendance for the GSS workshop by the deadline requested.
  • Submission of an application and abstract indicates agreement with GSS policies and guidelines.
  • Applicants may apply to two workshops to increase their chances of participating in GSS. However, presenters are not permitted to submit a paper or present in more than one workshop. If an applicant is approved for two workshops, they must immediately choose one and withdraw from the other, allowing the Chairs to offer the spot to another candidate.
  • Participants are expected to provide original work, with the understanding that they are bound by publication obligations (see Publication Plan section in each workshop page).
