His research for KAS focuses on the foreign policies of the Gulf states, GCC-EU relations, and socioeconomic transition processes occurring across the Arabian Peninsula. He holds a dual master\u2019s degree in international development and political science from Sciences Po Paris and Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin. Before beginning his studies at the master\u2019s level, he studied Arabic at the American University in Cairo as a Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) Fellow.
