| Gulf International Forum is delighted to announce the Third Annual Gulf Studies Symposium (GSS) on April 10-12, 2026 in Doha, Qatar. GSS is an annual conference dedicated to fostering the study of the Gulf region through the promotion of high standard scholarship and analysis. It will consist of seven themes focused on defense and security; innovation and economy; governance and reform; energy policies; U.S.-Gulf policy; society and culture; and geopolitics. Our primary objective is to receive high-quality papers with diverse and cutting edge topics on the Gulf region. We encourage the participation of experts from diverse backgrounds and institutions, including a balance of rising and seasoned scholars. Each Workshop Chair application must have two chairs.
