
Roundtable: The Integration of Women in the Security Field
This roundtable is a part of a series in a cosponsored program between Gulf International Forum and the U.S. Mission to NATO titled “Women, Peace, and Security: Gulf Perspectives on Integration, Inclusiveness and Integrity.” The program aims to influence decision makers and opinion shapers to encourage inclusive policies for women in the international security sector. The objectives of the dialogue series will focus on 1) generating greater participation from women in the field of security; 2) exploring how women can better contribute to peacebuilding efforts; and 3) sharing best practices on the role of women in current and recent Gulf region security issues.
Participants in the roundtable are experts and practitioners in the field of security, defense, negotiations and peacebuilding.
This roundtable will be off records adhering to the Chatham House Rules.
