ACWA Power signed an agreement with the Gulf Investment Corporation, the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects, and the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy to develop the the Az-Zour North Phase 2 & 3 Independent Water and Power Project in Kuwait. The project is valued at over $4 billion and is set to provide 2,700 megawatts of power generation capacity and 120 million imperial gallons per day of desalinated water.
