Saudi Aramco cut the official selling price of its flagship Arab Light crude for Asian customers in August by $11 a barrel, bringing it to a $1.50 discount over the regional benchmark. This is the steepest cut in at least 26 years. It comes after a surge of global supply heightens competition among producers for buyers.
