Chinese solar PV company SoleFiori, a subsidiary of Hongjun New Energy, has revealed plans to establish a 6 GW high-efficiency heterojunction (HJT) solar module manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The agreement was signed at the recent Beijing-Saudi Arabia Advanced Manufacturing Fair, organized by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce in Beijing. The Saudi Arabian factory will mark the company’s first attempt to expand its manufacturing footprint outside of China as part of its internationalization strategy, it stated.
