This resolution—sponsored by Rep. Steube [R-FL-17]—directs the Secretary of State to implement certain travel conditions for officials of certain countries, entities, and United Nations organizations for attending any official meeting of the United Nations at the United Nations Headquarters Building in New York City. It specifically calls for the implementation of such travel conditions on any official from Iran. It was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
