This bill – introduced by Rep. Jimmy Panetta [D-CA] on September 11th, 2025 as the SEED Act of 2025 – seeks to impose sanctions and other measures with respect to the Russian Federation, and extend the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 until 2031.
