H.R.5623 – SEIZE Act of 2025

This bill—sponsored by Rep. Gottheimer [D-NJ-5]—seeks to authorize the President to treat any weapon or materiel seized by the United States while in transit from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Houthis in the Republic of Yemen as American stocks. The bill may also be referred to as the “Seized Iranian Arms Transfer Authorization Act of 2025.”
