Glenn Thompson [R-PA] - reauthorizes through FY2031 and modifies Department of Agriculture programs that address, among other issues, foreign investments in U.S. agricultural land. The bill designates the acquisition of an interest in agricultural land by a foreign person of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a "Reportable Agricultural Land Transaction" that may be reviewed by the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States. The bill was introduced and referred to the House Committee on Agriculture.
