India’s imports of OPEC oil have fallen to their lowest level since 2011 as refiners purchased more fuel from the U.S. and other non-OPEC producers. Also, a combination of refinery maintenance and India’s desire to diversify sources of oil have also contributed to this decline. OPEC’s share fell to 73% of India’s total oil imports in October, down eight percent from September.
