Iraqi Electricity Minister Ziyad Ali Fadel met South Korean Ambassador to Iraq Lee Jun-il on Monday to discuss prospects for cooperation in the power sector, the Electricity Ministry said. Fadel highlighted the ministry’s interest in drawing on South Korea’s experience in power generation, transmission and distribution. The talks covered power plant construction, network expansion, and the adoption of modern technologies for operation and control systems.
