Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) CEO Sheikh Nawer Al Saud announced that engineering studies for the Al Durra gas field will be updated by summer's end, with work starting before the end of 2024. To achieve a production capacity of 3.2 million barrels per day, KPC will invest 7 billion dinars ($22.92 billion USD) over five years and begin Al Durra operations, reinforcing Kuwait's role as a key global oil supplier.
