Masdar, a branch of Mubadala Investment Company in the UAE, has confirmed it has earned a bid to develop Uzbekistan’s first public-private partnership (PPP) solar project. As one of the world’s main renewable energy companies, Masdar will develop the 100-megawatt (MW) utility-scale solar plant, under the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Scaling Solar program.
