Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has confirmed to sell a portion in the Ghasha gas project to Lukoil, a Russian oil company, as well as agreed to a strategic deal with Gazprom Neft in terms of technological cooperation. The two countries had previously talked about increasing bilateral energy sources, including their cooperation in the OPEC+ crude oil production cut deal. Also, both countries are members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum. ADNOC will grant Lukoil a 5% share in the Ghasha concession, which includes other sour gas fields offshore in Abu Dhabi.
