Omani Oil and Gas Minister Mohammed al-Rumhi said his country is expecting to discover more oil and gas in the northwest part of the sultanate near Mabrouk field which holds four trillion cubic feet of gas and 112 million barrels of condensate. Oman is the biggest non-OPEC oil producer in the Middle East with production in June 2019 at one million bpd of oil and condensate. Muscat also produces 3 billion cubic feet of gas per day with plans to increase investment on gas production and exploration.

Omani Oil and Gas Minister Mohammed al-Rumhi said his country is expecting to discover more oil and gas in the northwest part of the sultanate near Mabrouk field which holds four trillion cubic feet of gas and 112 million barrels of condensate.

Oman is the biggest non-OPEC oil producer in the Middle East with production in June 2019 at one million bpd of oil and condensate. Muscat also produces 3 billion cubic feet of gas per day with plans to increase investment on gas production and exploration.
