Salim Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals. Oman is recognized as a frontrunner in utilizing clean energy, specifically from solar and wind farms, for electricity generation. Following the implementation of a national strategy for a systematic shift towards carbon neutrality and setting the target for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Oman’s national carbon neutrality team has been working alongside the energy, transportation, and industry sectors.
