Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger (D-VA07) introduced a resolution that would specifically reject the transfer of U.S.-made weapons to Saudi Arabia and the UAE that utilize precision-guided munitions. The bill targets some of the 22 weapons transfers approved by the Trump Administration under his Congress-bypassing ‘emergency declaration.’ Congresswoman Spanberger is also a co-sponsor of legislation seeking to prevent each of these sales.
