On October 13, 2019, Kiril Dmitriev, chief executive officer of Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF, said that Russian investors are interested in a planned IPO of Saudi Aramco. Dmitriev was speaking ahead of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Saudi Arabia, where a global oil output deal between members of OPEC and non-OPEC countries would be discussed.
