The amendment — submitted by Sen. Luján [D-NM] — seeks to insert a  clause in the H.R. 1 Big Beautiful Bill prohibiting funds made available by the legislation from being used to upgrade a plane gifted by the government of Qatar for use by the United States Government in the Air Force One fleet.
