S.Res.437 – A resolution honoring servicemembers and relevant groups involved in the success of Operation Midnight Hammer

This bill—sponsored by Sen. Smith [R-MO]—calls for the creation of a resolution honoring the American pilots, maintainers, analysts, sailors, support aircraft, and families, among various other essential groups, who were involved in the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear targets on June 22, 2025, also known as Operation Midnight Hammer. The resolution would also call for the recognition of the strategic significance of Operation Midnight Hammer and the honoring of the families of involved servicemembers. The bill was agreed to in the Senate via Unanimous Consent.
