The newly appointed Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman said today that his country wants to enrich uranium. The new minister told reporters “we are proceeding with it cautiously ... we are experimenting with two nuclear reactors.” The tender is expected in 2020 while firms from the U.S., Russia, South Korea, China, and France are involved in preliminary talks about the multi-billion-dollar project.
