Hala is a senior at the George Washington University studying International Business, with a minor in Economics and International Affairs. Her work and research focuses on energy diplomacy, energy policy, and markets, with a focus on natural gas and alternative fuels, as well as critical minerals and grid infrastructure. Her regional focus is on the GCC and Iraq, and how geopolitics affects energy in the region. She also serves with the NCAC-USAEE (National Capital Area Chapter-United States Association of Energy Economics) and WCEE (Women’s Council on Energy and Environment) on energy related events for the greater DC area energy community.
