FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 20, 2023
GULF INTERNATIONAL FORUM WELCOMES NEW NON-RESIDENT FELLOW
Washington, DC: The Gulf International Forum, headquartered in Washington, DC, is pleased to welcome Dr. Kenneth Katzman as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow. Dr. Katzman is a Senior Fellow at Soufan Center and a Senior Research Advisor with the Global Insights Group, a foreign policy consulting firm. Previously, Dr. Katzman was a Senior Analyst at Congressional Research service. His work focuses on geopolitical and regional dynamics in the Middle East—with a focus on Iran—as well as United States strategy. Dr. Katzman is an accomplished scholar who will help bringing crucial new perspectives and fresh insight to the Forum’s ongoing scholarship.
GIF’s Non-Resident Fellowship program was established in 2018 to broaden the conversation surrounding the politics, economics, and society of the six GCC states, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen. The non-resident fellows will collaborate on research and publication with GIF policy experts and team and will participate in GIF’s panel discussions and other events. GIF will also help to amplify and share the non-resident fellows’ existing work where applicable.
