Fatih Oğuzhan İpek graduated from Sakarya University Department of International Relations and received his PhD at the Middle East Institute at the same university, achieving the 100/2000 YÖK Doctoral Scholarship. Fatih completed her doctoral thesis titled “The Influence of Domestic Actors in Iraq’s Foreign Policy Making: Structural Autonomy, Foreign Policy Coalition and Domestic Politics Balance of Power” in 2023. He has articles published in Web of Science journals and book chapters in Turkish and English. He continues writing on foreign policy analysis, Turkish foreign policy, Iraqi domestic and foreign policy, non-state armed actors, and Afghanistan.
